Content
Geography
The village is located in the western part of the Prokhladnensky district . It is located 32 km west of the district center Prokhladny and 48 km north-east of the city of Nalchik .
The area of the rural settlement is 9.98 km 2 . Of these, 8.55 km 2 (85.7%) is occupied by agricultural land.
It borders on the lands of settlements: Karagach in the northeast, Sovetskoye in the east, Baksanenok in the southwest, and Kremenchug-Konstantinovskoe in the northwest.
The settlement is located on the sloping Kabardian Plain , in the transitional zone from the foothill to the flatland republic. The average height in the village is 308 meters above sea level. The relief of the area is mainly wavy piedmont plains, with a common slope from southwest to northeast. In the vicinity of the settlement there are kurgan heights and wooded bumps.
The hydrographic network is represented mainly by two rivers. The Mokraya Psarysh River flows along the southern outskirts of the village, and the Black River flows to the north of the village. Also in the vicinity of the village a network of melioration channels stretches.
The climate is humid temperate. The average annual air temperature is positive and is about + 10.0 ° С. The average air temperature in July reaches + 22.5 ° С. The average January temperature is around -2.5 ° C. The average annual rainfall is about 570 mm. Most of the precipitation falls between April and June. Snow cover mainly lies in the period from mid-December to early March. However, thaws are frequent in winter. During the growing season of field crops there is a high temperature and low relative humidity of the air.
History
Documented, the history of the village began on May 30, 1925 , when the regional land office of the Kabardino-Balkarian Autonomous Region received a statement from the representatives of 81 farms of the citizens of the village of Karagachevo, Primalkinsky District, from Khapasha Mashukovich Khamukov and Shao Charmovich Kurdugov [3] .
In 1926, the new settlers moved from the village of Karagachevo and settled near the Mokraya Psarysh river.
During World War II, the village was badly damaged during the occupation, which lasted about 3 months. Released in early January 1943 during the North Caucasus military operation.
In Soviet times, the Chapaev and Krupskaya collective farms operated in the vicinity of the village, which were later transformed into the Psynshoko vegetable farm, and in 1988 it was transformed into the Psynshoko agricultural complex. The administration of the rural settlement Psynshoko was established on the basis of the decree number 1 of 25. 04. 1992, the head of the administration of the Prokhladnensky district of the CBD in 1992 , after the reorganization of the Psyxhok village council.
