Biography
Born in Vienna on May 23, 1751 in the family of Heinrich Christian Senckenberg and his second wife Sophie Elizabeth von Palm. In 1768 he entered the University of Göttingen and studied law and historical sciences in Strasbourg .
In 1772 he began his practice at the imperial court in Wetzlar , but was forced to leave this place. In 1774 he made a trip to Italy. In 1775 he became an expert in the government of Hesse .
In 1778 he returned to Vienna and was under suspicion of the police. After a long prison sentence, he was expelled from Austria and returned to Hesse. From 1780 to 1784 he was a lawyer of the government, and after that he stayed in Hesse as a private person.
He died on December 18, 1800, bequeathed his entire library to the university library and the University of Hesse.
The follower of the Deutsche Reichsgeschichte started by Geberlin (t. 21-27, Frank. 1798 - 1799 ). In the field of law, he is the author of the study: "Meditationes maximam in partem jundicae quinque, cum mantissis quibusdain" (Wetzlar, 1789 ).
