Geography
The village of Konstantinovo is located in the southwestern part of Voskresensky district, about 1.5 km south-west of the city of Voskresensk . Altitude 113 m [3] . The village is located on the right bank of the Moscow River. There are 6 streets in the village [4] . The nearest town is the city of Voskresensk.
Title
In written sources, the village is referred to as Kostentinovsky (1577), Konstantinovsky (1784), and from 1862 - Konstantinovo . The name arose no later than the XIV-XV centuries. [five]
History
At the beginning of the XIX century - the estate of the general-wit, A. M. Pushkin , who rests in the local Trinity Church. This temple was built in 1797 by his guardian Praskovya Vladimirovna, the widow of I. I. Melissino .
In 1926, the village was the center of the Konstantinovsky village council of the Spasskaya volost in the Bronnitsky district of the Moscow province , there was a hospital [6] .
Since 1929 - a settlement as part of the Voskresensky district of the Kolomna district of the Moscow region, since 1930, in connection with the abolition of the district, - as part of the Voskresensky district of the Moscow region. Until 1954 - the center of the Konstantinovsky Village Council .
Before the municipal reform of 2006, Konstantinovo was part of the Gostilovsky rural district of the Voskresensky district [7] .
Population
In 1926, 832 people lived in the village (313 men, 519 women), there were 174 farms, of which 173 were peasant [6] . According to the 2002 census - 89 people (39 men, 50 women) [8] .
