History

On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F.F. Schubert in 1834, the village of Knyazev is mentioned, consisting of 26 peasant households [2] .

KNYAZEVO - the village belongs to the Treasury, the number of inhabitants under the audit: 43 m., 42 w. paragraph [3] . (1838)

The Knyazevo village of 26 courtyards is marked on the map of F. F. Schubert in 1844 [4] .

KNYAZEVA - village of the State Property Office, on a country road, the number of yards - 20, the number of souls - 49 m. [5] (1856)


KNYAZEVA - treasury village on the Kozopasha River, the number of yards - 19, the number of inhabitants: 62 m., 60 w. n [6] . (1862 year)

According to the map from the “Historical Atlas of the St. Petersburg Province” of 1863, the river on which the village is located was called Koza Pasha [7] .

In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Domozhirovsky volost of the 3rd camp of the Novoladozhsky district of St. Petersburg province.

From 1917 to 1927, the village of Knyazevo was part of the Knyazevsky village council of the Domozhirovsky volost of the Volkhovsky district .

Since 1927, as part of the Pash district . In 1927, the population of the village of Knyazevo was 149 people.

Since 1928, as part of the Karpinsky Village Council [8] .

According to 1933, the village of Knyazevo was part of the Karpinsky village council of the Pash district [9] .

Since 1955, as part of the Novoladozhsky district .

In 1958, the population of the village of Knyazevo was 39 people.

Since 1963, as part of the Volkhov district [8] .

Geography

The village is located in the north-eastern part of the region near the highway 41K-193 ( Pasha - Zagubye ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 7 km [15] .

The distance to the nearest Pasha railway station is 6 km [10] .

The village is located on the left bank of the Kosopasha River .
