Alkhazov, Alburi Magomedovich (November 27, 1910 , the village of Urakhi (darg. - Khӏurekhi), Dagestan - March 29, 1986 , Moscow ) - a prominent Soviet architect and military engineer, author of numerous buildings in Moscow, Crimea, Abkhazia, Makhachkala. Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR ( 1939 ), Honored Architect of the RSFSR ( 1985 ). Honored Worker of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR, Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR and the Dagestan ASSR.

Biography
Born in 1910 in the village of Urakhi . Darginets . From 1924 he studied and was brought up in the Boarding School of the Highlanders in Buinaksk , then in the 1st Dagestan Pedagogical College ( 1927 ). He was sent to the Rabfak of Arts in Moscow ( 1927 - 1930 ), after which he continued his studies at the Moscow Architectural Institute ( 1930 - 1935 ). In 1935 - 1937 he worked in the building design workshop at the Moscow Architectural Institute , as an assistant to the architect I. S. Nikolaev. Since 1937 - in the Design Office of the NKVD [1] . In 1941 - 1945 - in the army. He was deputy chief of the Road Division of the 40th Army . He was awarded the Order of the Red Star ( 1943 ), Orders of the Patriotic War of the I and II degrees ( 1944 and 1945 ) [2] . At the end of the war he returned to work in a design organization. After the dissolution of the NKVD, he worked in design offices at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense. Since 1950 - Head and Chief Architect of the Central Design Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs [3] ; after 1960 - chief engineer of CPI-20. He participated in the creation of the master plan of the city of Leninskoye (since 1995 - Baikonur ) and the construction of military-strategic facilities in the USSR and countries of the Department of Internal Affairs . He designed sanatorium complexes in the Crimea and Abkhazia and the cities of the Caucasian Mineral Waters . He participated in the design of the MADI building.
In 1974 he retired with the rank of colonel engineer.
He died in 1986 . He was buried in Moscow at the Mitinsky cemetery (17th school).

- 1936 - participation in the development of one of the variants of the general plan of the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition ( VDNH ).
- 1937 - reconstruction of the Mikoyanovsky meat processing plant (together with A. A. Osmer).
- 1938 - Water supply station of the Moscow meat processing plant.
- 1940 - residential building No. 35/30 on Kutuzovsky Prospekt (co-author - A. V. Meziere).
- 1940 - residential building No. 8-12 on Sadovaya-Sukharevskaya St. (co-author - B.K. Mirovich).
- 1940 - residential building No. 8/2 along the Leningradskoye Shosse (co-authored by A. V. Meziere). (The building along the 1st Novopodmoskovsky lane and along Zoya and Alexander Kosmodemyanskikh streets was added to the arch in 1952 according to the project of other authors).
- Cottage of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the USSR Joseph Stalin.
- 1940 - participation in the competition for the project of a typical club (incentive award). Project No. 190 under the motto "The Seagull", co-authors - V. V. Ilyashev and technician E. N. Alfimov ..
- 1956 - reconstruction of the Research Institute of Geochemistry (house number 19 on Kosygina street ; together with S. E. Chernyshev ).
- 1956 - MADI building, Leningradsky Prospekt 64 (in the pre-war years as a co-author of A.E. Zilbert, in 1946 - 1956 - the main architect of the project; co-author is S.E. Chernyshev ).
- 1956 - Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Infantry Street (as a co-author of E. L. Kekusheva).
- 1972 - educational and laboratory building of MADI , Leningradsky Prospect , 64/2.

- 1954 - the sanatorium named after the 17th Party Congress in Gagra (now - the sanatorium "Amra"; co-author is P. S. Kovalev). In 1953 , the building was nominated for the Stalin Prize ; in early 1954 , consideration of the candidacy was postponed, as the construction work was not yet completed.
- 1965 - 1972 - version of the general plan of the city of Leninsky and residential and public buildings.
- 1972 - 1973 - a monument to the soldiers-Urakhins who died on the fronts of World War II, in the village of Urakhi , in the Republic of Dagestan .
