Biography
Born in the family of the historian of philosophy Boris Chernyshev . He graduated from the Faculty of Biology and Soil of Moscow State University (1958), qualification biologist-zoologist. Since 1961, after graduating from postgraduate studies and defending his dissertation, he worked at the Department of Entomology.
Doctor of Biological Sciences (1978), Senior Researcher (1977), Professor (1989). He lectured on Ecology of Insects, Agricultural Entomology and Technical Entomology.
The author of 7 books, including:
- "Biological rhythms" (et al., 1980),
- "Daily rhythms of insect activity" M., 1984. - 216 p.
- reference book "Culture of insects and ticks in the USSR" (1988),
- "Ecology of insects" M .: Publishing house of Moscow State University, 1996. - 304 p.
- “Environmental protection of plants. Arthropods in the agroecosystem ”(2001).
Chairman of the Moscow branch of the Russian Entomological Society .
He was awarded the medal "Veteran of Labor" (1986).
He was buried at the Vvedensky cemetery with his parents.
