History
According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Bereg was part of the Pash village council of the Volkhov district [2] [3] [4] .
In 1997, 70 people lived in the village of Bereg of the Pashsky volost, in 2002 - 79 people (98% Russians) [5] [6] .
In 2007, in the village of Bereg Pashsky SP - 76, in 2010 - 66 [7] [8] .
Geography
The village is located in the north-eastern part of the district on the 41K-193 road ( Pasha - Zagub'e ).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 4 km [7] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Pasha is 5 km [2] .
The village is on the left bank of the river Pasha .
