Of the works, the ode “Medicine of my wounds” dedicated to the Virgin Mary ( Armenian Սպեղանի իմ խոցերոյս ), lyric poems “The most beautiful of all colors is the rose” ( Armenian Սիրուն է վարդն ի մէջ ծաղկանցն ամենէ ), noteworthy, are noteworthy . Եկ, պիւլպիւլ իմ գարնանային ) and “The cold and winter passed” ( Armenian Էանց ցուրտ եւ ձմեռն ), in which love and nature are chanted [3] . Simeon partly continues the traditions of classical Armenian poetry, partly it is a representative of the ashug folklore [3] .

Simeon Kafaeci-lyric should not be confused with the poet-wanderer of the same name [1] of the same period (XVII century), who wrote two poems about wandering life.
