Geography
The village is located 6 km from the administrative center of the commune of Slomniki and 19 km from the administrative center of the province of Krakow [2] . The village is located on the Lesser Poland path of St. James .
History
The first mention of the village dates back to 1224. At that time, the village was the family estate of Benka Polyanovich. In 1536 the village became the property of Jadwiga Permus. In 2005, the village had 142 households with 687 inhabitants.
In 1975-1998, the village was part of the Cracow Voivodeship.
