Joseph Isaac Skuling ( eng. Joseph Isaac Schooling , born June 16, 1995) - Singapore swimmer, the only Olympic champion from Singapore, bronze medalist of the World Cup 2015 , bronze medalist of the World Cup 2017, champion of the Asian Games.

Biography
He was born in 1995 in Singapore , in a family of mixed English and Chinese origin. After completing the second grade of the Anglo-Chinese High School, he continued his studies in the USA . He graduated from the boarding school Bolles in Jacksonville , Florida , and entered the University of Texas at Austin .
In 2011, he became the champion of the Games of Southeast Asia. In 2012, he represented his country at the Olympic Games in London , but could not rise above 26th place. In 2013, he again became the champion of the Games of Southeast Asia. In 2014 he became the silver medalist of the Commonwealth Games and won the Asian Games. In 2016, he became the Olympic champion at the games in Rio de Janeiro on the 100m butterfly stroke, ahead of Michael Phelps , Chad le Clos and Laszlo Cech in the final swim, sharing the second place.
