Aleksandr Aleksandr Timashev ( January 30 ( February 11 ) 1857 - August 15 (28) 1904 ) - officer of the Cavalier Guard regiment , stalmeister , in 1901-1904 the Orenburg provincial leader of the nobility.
Biography
The son of the Minister of the Interior A.E. Timashev and his wife E.A. Pashkova (1838-1899), the grandson of A.V. Pashkov .
He was brought up at home, in 1873 he entered the Page Corps as an external student, from where he was made a cornet into the Cavalier Guard regiment from chamber pages on June 10, 1877 and was appointed assistant to the head of the training team. From April 1, 1879 to March 24, 1880 he served as regimental adjutant. In 1881 he was promoted to lieutenant and appointed assistant to the head of the training team.
July 23, 1883 was added to the Ministry of Internal Affairs , with enrollment in the Guards Cavalry, and in 1885 was enlisted in the reserve of the Guards Cavalry. In 1886 he was appointed an official for assignments under the chief of the General Staff , and in the following year, he was an adjutant to the Minister of War . In 1888 he was promoted to staff captain , and in 1894 - to captain . In 1898, Alexander Alexandrovich was supremely allowed to wear a gold medal granted to his father for the liberation of the peasants . On November 10, 1898, he retired with the rank of colonel , and on January 5, 1899, he was highly authorized to wear the uniform of the Cavalier Guard regiment.
Inherited in the Orenburg province, the family estate of Tashla (about 80,000 acres ) with distilleries and horse factories. In the village of Timashev, two schools were built, an almshouse and a hospital, a nursery, teahouses and a fire brigade were set up, leaving for all the fires in the area up to 15 miles from the village; a telegraph was conducted from Orenburg to Tashlu. Since 1885 he was an honorary magistrate of the Orenburg District. In 1901, he was elected the Orenburg provincial leader of the nobility and was granted the position of Stalmeister .
He died on August 15, 1904 in the village of Tashle and was buried in a family crypt.
Family
Wife (since 1882) - Nadezhda Sergeevna Sheremeteva (1860-1944), maid of honor of the yard (1880), daughter of Sergey Sergeyevich Sheremetev (1821-1884) from his second marriage with Countess Sofya Mikhailovna Muravyeva (1833-1880). According to M. M. Osorgin , “Nadia Sheremeteva’s father was the worst known drunkard and, unfortunately, passed this vice on to her daughter” [1] . Died in exile in Paris. 9 children were born in the marriage, among which:
- Nicholas (1883-1912), a student of the Page Corps (1903), cavalry guard, committed suicide.
- Sophia (1884-1939), maid of honor, married (1907) to cavalry guard Alexander Grigoryevich Chertkov (1883-1938).
- Elizabeth (1885-1944), was married to V. A. Naryshkin, died in exile in England.
- Sergei (1887-1933), a student of the Page Corps, a guard officer, emigrated to France.
- Alexander (1889-1919), staff captain of the Cavalry Guard regiment . Member of the White Movement as part of the All-Union Socialist League, commander of the 3rd squadron of the Cavalry Guard division. He died in a Kharkov hospital in October 1919 [2] .
- George (1891-1925), a student at St. Petersburg University, a participant in the First World War . He died in exile in France.
