Geography
The village is located near state road No. 44, 5 km from the administrative center of the commune of Skavin and 16 km from the administrative center of the province of Krakow [2] .
In 1975-1998, the village was part of the Cracow Voivodeship.
Population

Attractions
- The estate, built in the XIX century;
- The Lonchansky Canal passes through the village. There is a gateway in Borek Slaskiecki, which is considered the highest in Poland. The lock is 85 meters long, 12 meters wide, and 12 meters deep [4] .
