The technosphere is an object of planetary ecology [1] , part of the ecosphere that contains artificial technical structures that are made and used by man:
- part of the biosphere (according to some ideas, over time the entire biosphere), radically transformed by man through the indirect influence of technical means , as well as technical and technogenic objects ( buildings , roads , mechanisms , etc.) in order to best meet socio-economic needs humanity ;
- the complex part of the anthroposphere , covering the interaction of technical means of production with the natural resource potential of the territory on the basis of scientific and technological progress ;
- an almost closed regional-global future technological system of utilization and re-utilization of natural resources involved in economic circulation, designed to isolate economic and production cycles from natural metabolism and energy flow [2] .
Content
Description
The technosphere, as a holistic system , includes:
- Actually the technical artifacts themselves, that is, technology as an object and its sociocultural significance;
- Specific technical knowledge, skill, rules, theories, their cultural value;
- Technical activities in two plans:
- As an engineering,
- And related to everyday life;
- Specific techno-mentality;
- A system of relations between man and nature, where technology acts as a kind of intermediary [2] .
