Content
Geography
The farm is located in the southern part of the Prokhladnensky district , on the right bank of the Malka River. It is located 0.4 km south of the district center - Prokhladny and 64 km northeast of the city of Nalchik ( on the way ).
It borders the lands of the settlements: Prokhladny in the north, Primalkinsky in the east, Novo-Poltava in the south, Novo-Voznesensky in the southwest and Matveevsky in the west.
The village is located on the inclined Kabardian plain , in the flat zone of the republic. Average heights in the farm are 226 meters above sea level. The terrain is a wavy foothill plain, with a general slope from the southwest to northeast. There are various ridges to the west and north of the farm.
The hydrographic network is mainly represented by the lake - Komsomolskoye, located at the eastern edge of the farm. To the west of the village is the bed of the shallowed lake. In the north, the Malka River flows.
The climate in the village is humid and temperate. The average air temperature in July reaches + 23.0 ° C. The average January temperature is about -2.0 ° C. The average annual rainfall is about 600 mm. The main winds are east and northwest.
History
The village was founded in 1906 as a settlement of the Komarovsky farm. Since 1921, it has been part of the Primalka rural settlement .
Nowadays, the farm has actually merged with the district district of the city of Prokhladny, spreading to the right bank of the Malka River.
