Geography
The village is located 5 km from the administrative center of the commune of the village of Ežmanovice and 20 km from the administrative center of the province of Krakow [2] .
The village consists of parts with their own names: Gerot, Babya Gora, Lazne, Kopanin, Lazy Yavor, Miedzyguže, Podzapusty, Pshetsuvki, Kamyk, Stare Lazy and Konty ..
History
The first documented certificates of the village date back to 1406. In 1564 there was an inn in the village. In the middle of the XVII century, near the village, a farm with a manor was founded, which eventually became the center of the village. In the 70s of the XX century, the estate was demolished.
In 1975-1998, the village was part of the Cracow Voivodeship.

Tourism
The village is located on the path of a cycling and hiking tourist route through the Olkusz Upland, which is part of the Krakow-Czestochowa Upland . The entire territory of the village is located within the Dolinki-Krakowske landscape park. The village is a stopping point on the way to Oytsovsky National Park .
In the immediate vicinity of the village there are the following caves: “ Neopezhovaya Cave ”, “Vezhokhovsko-Gurnaya Cave” and “Maiden's Cave”.
In the village there is a tourist base for an overnight stay, which includes a mountain shelter, a private boarding house and various trading tourist enterprises.
