Pombia ( Italian: Safari Park di Pombia ) - a safari park, a zoo and an amusement park in the municipality of Pombia , Piedmont , northern Italy , created by Angelo Lombardi in 1976; covers an area of 400 thousand m² [1] . In 1999, the park, which by that time had already decayed, acquired Orfeo Tribbert, who began large-scale work on its reconstruction. At the same time, the owner of the park was actually divided into two zones: a safari park and an entertainment zone. Safari Park has a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Turin to conduct a number of research projects on, inter alia, the pathology of farm animals and the prevention of extinction of rare species [2] . In total, more than 600 species of animals inhabit the park.
