Hemogenous endothelium is a special subspecies of endothelial cells scattered in the vascular endothelium, which under certain conditions can differentiate into hematopoietic (hematopoietic) cells .. [1]
The development of hematopoietic cells in the embryo occurs sequentially from the cells of the primary mesoderm , through the stage of hemangioblast to the cells of the hemogenous endothelium and then to the hematopoietic progenitor cells themselves ( hemocytoblasts and later). [2]
