Biography
Born in the city on April 8, 1909 in Zugdidi (now Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti , Georgia ). In 1934 he graduated with honors from the Moscow Institute of Contemporary Art named after V.V. Kuybyshev . He worked on the construction of the MMK named after I.V. Stalin and the first stage of the Moscow Metro named after L. M. Kaganovich .
In 1937-1942 he was an engineer, head of the production department for the construction of mines in the Donbass, and deputy chief engineer of Glavshakhtostroy, NKTP USSR and NKUP USSR.
At the beginning of World War II, he led the liquidation of the mines of Donbass in the immediate vicinity of the front. In 1942-1943, the deputy head of the Kuzbassugol plant, supervised the high-speed construction of coal mines.
After the liberation of Donbass, he was the head of the Donbassshakhtostroy plant, and then Glavshakhtovosstanovleniya.
In 1947 - 1953 he was the head of the Glavshakhtostroy of the Donetsk and Moscow Region basins, the head of the Glavcentroshakhtostroy of the USSR Minugol. In 1953-1956 he was the head of the Gruzugol plant. In 1957-1963, at the USSR State Planning Commission , head of the capital construction department and deputy head of the coal industry department for capital construction.
In 1963-1969, in the USSR State Construction Committee, first deputy chief of Glavka and deputy head of the coal industry department. Since 1969, he again worked in the USSR State Planning Commission, deputy head of the coal, peat and shale industry.
He died on June 11, 1979 . He was buried in Moscow at the Kuntsevsky cemetery .
