Kollhoff-Tower ( Kolhoff Tower , Kolhoff Tower ) is a high-rise building in Berlin on Potsdamer Platz . The 25-story building, commissioned in 1999, has a height of 101 m. Together with the high-rise building BahnTower (height 103 m) and the high-rise office building PWC Renzo Piano , the Kolhoff Tower forms a high-rise ensemble in the center of the German capital. The high-rise building in the style of early American high-rise architecture of the early XX century was named after its architect Hans Kolhoff .

The lower floors of the building are occupied by retailers; offices are located on the upper floors. Among the tenants of the building are the famous international law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Olswang . Since April 15, 2000, an observation deck has been opened on the top floor of the Kollhoff-Tower , visitors to which are delivered by the fastest passenger elevator in Europe. Its speed is 8.65 m per second. [2] In early 2009, repair work was carried out on the ceramic facade of the building, which was damaged by moisture.
