Biography
Student of the Institute of Sports and Tourism of Turkmenistan . Pupil of the School of Higher Sports Excellence of Turkmenistan. Trainers - Chemengul Geldybaeva and Dortkula Tedzhenov [2] .
In 2012, at the 36th World Sambo Championship in Minsk, she became the world champion in the weight category up to 52 kg [3] . In the same year she won the open Judo European Cup in Istanbul (Turkey) [4] . In December, she won a gold medal at the Sambo World Cup among students in Kazan [5] .
In 2013, she won a gold medal in belt wrestling and a bronze medal in sambo (up to 52 kg) [6] at the Universiade in Kazan [7] [8] [9] .
In June 2014, she won a gold medal at the Asian Championship in Sports and Combat Sambo in Tashkent [4] . At the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, she won a silver medal [10] . At the 2014 Asian Beach Games, she won a gold and silver medal [11] . Recognized as the best athlete of 2014 in Turkmenistan [12] .
Gulbadam received another success at the Asian open tournament in Taiwan in the Taipei-2015 competitions [13] . She won the gold medal in judo, taking up over Yura Kim from the Republic of Korea.
