Maurice "Buddy" Adler ( June 22, 1909 - July 12, 1960 ) is an American film producer and former production manager at 20th Century Fox.

Born in New York in a Jewish family. [3] He began his career in the advertising department of his father’s shoe company ( elevator shoes ). In 1940, he married actress Anite Louise (1915-1970), from whom he had two children.
In 1954, his film " From Now and Forever Ages " won the Academy Award for Best Film, and in 1956, his film " Love is the Most Magnificent Thing in the World " was nominated for the best film. Adler was also the producer of the 1956 film “The Bus Stop, ” starring Marilyn Monroe .
In 1957 received the Irving Talberg Award . The following year, he received the Cecil B. De Mill Award for his contribution to the cinema.
Buddy Adler died of lung cancer at the age of 51 in Los Angeles and was buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery . His widow died ten years later.
