Galium friedrichii (lat.) Is a species of dicotyledonous plants of the genus Strawberry ( Galium ) of the family Marenovye ( Rubiaceae ). The taxonomic name was published by a group of botanists in 2001 [2] .

The taxonomic epithet is given in honor of Friedrich Erendorfer , an Austrian botanist, a madder researcher [3] .
Endemic to the Balearic Islands ( Spain ). It occurs in Ibiza and Formentera [4] .
Hemicryptophyte [4] . Perennial plant genetically very close to the species Galium crespianum JJ Rodr. . The stalk is creeping or rising. The leaves are glabrous, linear-lanceolate, often also sickle-shaped, measuring 15–70 × 1.5–4 mm. An inflorescence is a nimbus, carries white flowers [3] .
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 44 [5] .
