Brigad Wotan (Wotan - the German name of the god Odin ) was formed in 1993 from the former participants of the trallpunk-group Brutal Personal in the suburb of Trollhättan , when the attention of the Swedish media was riveted on the frequent clashes taking place in this city between immigrant and nationalist-minded youth.
Brigad Wotan released their first demo in 1993. In 1994, her first album, "Sverige i brand" (Sweden on fire), followed, and in 1996 her second and at the same time last album Nationellt Självförsvar (National Self-Defense) was released.
The band members were repeatedly brought to trial for beating immigrants [1] [2] In this connection, the single Somalia Kickers was released together with the Nordic Skins group.
