Biography
September 1, 1998 I went to the Karaganda school - Lyceum No. 53. From the first grade I got involved in sports, first it was karate (coach Abylaskimov Ruslan Abdreevich 1-5 grade), then football (5-11 grades), athletics (6 grades), sports martial arts - karate, jujitsu, combat sambo (grades 9-11).
In June 2008 he graduated from high school and moved to a permanent place of residence in the city of Kaliningrad of the Russian Federation.
September 1, 2008 was enrolled in the first year of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the Immanuel Kant Russian State University (now the Higher School of Physical Culture and Sports of the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University). Since October, began to engage in hand-to-hand combat [2] .
Sporting Achievements
He demonstrated his first successes in February 2009, when he won the Championship of the North-West Federal District of Russia among young men aged 16-17.
The standard of the Master of Sports of Russia in hand-to-hand combat was fulfilled by winning a bronze award at the Russian Championship among youth (18-23 years old), held in June 2011 in Essentuki. He completed the Masters of Sports in Combat Sambo in December 2012, winning a bronze award at the Championship of the Northwestern Federal District of Russia held in the city of Velikiye Luki .
In March 2013, he became the winner of the Russian Championship in hand-to-hand combat among youth (18-23 years old).
In December 2013, he became the silver medalist of the Russian Hand-to-Hand Fighting Championship and became a member of the Russian national team.
On May 31, 2014, he represented the country at the European Championships and won a gold award, thereby fulfilling the standard of an International-Class Master of Sports [3] .

In April 2015, he took part in the World Championship in hand-to-hand combat in Moscow, where he received a severe jaw injury. Despite this, he won a silver medal.
In December 2015, Alexey Volkov in Kabardino-Balkaria won two silver medals in the Russian Hand-to-Hand Fighting Championship.
Coaching
Since 2012 she has been engaged in coaching. In 2013, he received the first qualification category. In 2015-2016, he was a member of the coaching staff of the hand-to-hand fighting department at the MBU DO Sports School No. 13 in kickboxing and hand-to-hand combat. Since 2015, A. Volkov has founded and managed the White Wolf Hand-to-Hand Fight Club in Kaliningrad. The training process takes place on the basis of MAOU Secondary School No. 24, DS "Youth" and PGT Amber.
