Tragonisi (Patmos)

Tragonisi ( Greek: Τραγονήσι ) is an uninhabited island in Grikos Bay in the southeastern part of Patmos Island in the Dodecanese archipelago. Administratively belongs to the municipality of Patmos . The island protects the bay from the weather (with the exception of winds in the southeast) [1] .

At the 7th World Congress of the Club “The Most Beautiful Bays in the World”, held in Senegal (May 22-26, 2011), Grikos Bay on Patmos Island, in the center of which lies Trigonisi, officially became one of the most beautiful bays in the world [ 2] .
