Located on the river Shadym, 42 km from the district center and the Kovylkino railway station.

- Marchenkov, Mikhail Petrovich ( 1899 - 1980 ) - Soviet commander, lieutenant general .
- Nuzhdin, Alexander Mikhailovich - Soviet and Russian race car driver, master of sports of international class, winner of the Socialist Friendship Cup, twice champion of the USSR in highway racing, twice silver medalist of the USSR championship, champion of the Russian Federation, bronze and silver medalist of the Russian championship.
