Sergei Nikolayevich Stupin ( June 25, 1856 - after 1917) - Kursk entrepreneur, member of the III State Duma from the Kursk province .
Biography
Orthodox. From hereditary nobles.
At the end of the Kursk gymnasium, he devoted himself to entrepreneurship and social activities. He owned two commercial enterprises. He was a member of the board of the Kursk Mutual Credit Society, and in 1893 was elected chairman of the board. He was elected as the vowel of the Kursk district and provincial zemstvo meetings , the vowel of the city duma, as well as an honorary magistrate. He was a member of the Kursk district zemstvo council. In addition, he was Secretary of the Kursk Department of the Moscow Society of Agriculture .
In 1907 he was elected to the III State Duma from the 1st Congress of Urban Voters of the Kursk Province. He was a member of the National Group (1st session), in the moderate right fraction (2nd session), and from the 3rd session - in the Russian national fraction. He was a member of the commissions: financial, administrative, on city affairs, on ways of communication and budget.
June 18, 1908 participated in the constituent assembly of the All-Russian National Union , was elected a member of the Audit Commission.
In 1908, at the constituent assembly of the All-Russian Central Bank of Mutual Credit Societies, he was elected chairman of the bank. Then he left the post of chairman, but still served on the board of the bank. Fate after 1917 is unknown. Was married.
