Fedor Efimovich Khrebtov ( May 3, 1907 , the village of Ploskaya , now Kurgan Region - July 1, 1984 , Simferopol ) - lieutenant colonel of the Soviet Army , participant in the Great Patriotic War , Hero of the Soviet Union ( 1943 ).

Biography
F.E. Khrebtov was born on May 3, 1907 in the village of Ploskaya Kondinsky volost of the Shadrinsky district of the Perm province (now the Shadrinsky district of the Kurgan region ).
Worked in laborers. In 1922, the Khrebtov family entered the commune Komintern. Fedor was an active Komsomol member .
After finishing ten grades of school, he lived and worked in Sverdlovsk .
Since 1929, a member of the CPSU (b) (in 1952 the party was renamed the CPSU) .
In 1930 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk Soviet-Party School. He worked as the director of the industrial complex.
In 1930 - 1932 he served in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army , was a company political officer.
In 1933 - 1934 - in the internal troops of the OGPU under the SNK of the USSR . Political instructor of the 29th regiment, the maneuver group of the 186th regiment of the OGPU [2] .
After the service, Fedor Efimovich studied at the Sverdlovsk Higher Communist School. In 1935, Khrebtov graduated from the Higher Border School of the NKVD of the USSR . In 1935, he was discharged to the reserve. After completing his studies, he worked in Sverdlovsk as an instructor in the district, city and regional committees of the CPSU (b).
In 1941, Khrebtov was drafted into the army for the third time. In 1942 he graduated from the Shot courses . Since July of the same year - on the fronts of World War II [3] .
By September 1943, Captain Fyodor Khrebtov commanded a battalion of the 207th Guards Rifle Regiment of the 70th Guards Rifle Division of the 13th Army of the Central Front . He distinguished himself during the crossing of Pripyat . On September 26–27, 1943, Khrebtov’s battalion repeatedly turned into counterattacks, storming an important height, which contributed to the successful expansion of the bridgehead [3] .
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of October 16, 1943, for the "courage and heroism shown in the battles at the Pripyat bridgehead" of the guard, Captain Fedor Khrebtov was awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal number 3212 [3] .
In subsequent battles he received severe shell shock. After the war he served in the Soviet Army.
In the period from 1946 to 1952 he served as a military commissar in the Stalin District Military Commissariat of Kazan [4] .
In 1952 he graduated from the KuOS .
From 1953 to 1960 he held the post of military commissar of the Khvalynsk military commissariat [5] .
In 1960, with the rank of lieutenant colonel Khrebtov, he was sacked. He lived in Simferopol .
He died on July 1, 1984, and was buried in the Abdal cemetery in Simferopol [3] .

Memory
- In 2003, a street was named in honor of Khrebtov in the Volga region of Kazan [3] .
- The memorial plaque is placed on the building of the Municipal Educational Establishment "Iltyakovskaya Basic School" in the village of Iltyakovo, Shadrinsky District, Kurgan Region.
- The plaque is placed on the building of the military commissariat of the city of Khvalynsk . Opened June 22, 2013.
- The street in his native village Ploskaya is named after Khrebtov.
