Eva Bozena Kopacz ( Polish Ewa Bożena Kopacz , nee Eva Lis , Polish Ewa Lis ; born December 3, 1956 , Skaryszew ) is a Polish politician. The 54th Prime Minister of Poland from September 22, 2014 [3] to November 16, 2015. Prior to this - Marshal of the Sejm of Poland (from 2011 to 2014 ).

Biography

Born December 3, 1956 in the family of Mechislav and Christina Lis [4] . She spent her childhood in the city of Radom , where she received secondary education.

Education

In 1981 she graduated from the Medical University in Lublin , educated as a pediatrician.

Political Activities

In the 90s, she was a member of the Union of Liberty , since 2001 a member of the Civic Platform party , and since December 14, 2013, the first deputy chairman of this party.

Member of the Sejm of Poland IV, V, VI and VII convocations (since 2001 ). Minister of Health in 2007-2011. Since 2011, she headed the lower house of the Polish parliament.

Leader of the Civil Platform list in the 2015 parliamentary elections .

Family

Husband E. Kopach was the prosecutor Marek Kopach (1956-2013), with whom she divorced in 2008. Has a daughter Katarzyna born in 1984 [5] .
