Biography
Received a medical education. He was one of the first Gaullists in Martinique. In 1958, he took part in the constituent congress of the Union for the new Republic, in 1958-1965. was his regional secretary. He was a supporter of the complete assimilation of Martinique as French territory with the status of the overseas department of France.
