Biography
Born in the village. Zmievka Oryol region . He graduated in 1963 from the Moscow Agricultural Academy. K.A. Timiryazev (TSHA) . After serving in the army (1963-1965) he studied at the graduate school of the Moscow Institute of Agricultural Engineers .
After defending his dissertation, he worked at the TSAA: researcher at the Laboratory for Economic Research (1969-1970), senior lecturer, associate professor of the Department of Agriculture (1971-1978), secretary of the party committee (1978-1981), vice-rector for research (1981-1991). From 1992 to 2000 - rector of the Moscow Art Academy.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation (1991-1994).
Field of research - resource-saving soil-protective soil cultivation technologies.
He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor (1981), two medals. The first prize to them. V.R. Williams, III prize of the USSR Ministry of Higher Education (1986).
