Saman Tahmasebi (born July 26, 1985) is an Iranian and Azerbaijani Greco-Roman style wrestler , Asian champion, multiple winner of world championships.

Biography
Born in 1985 in Senenj ( Kurdistan Province, Iran ). In 2006 he became the bronze medalist of the World Cup. In 2007, he became the champion of Asia and again won the bronze medal of the world championship. In 2008, he took part in the Beijing Olympics , but took only 11th place there.
In 2010 he moved to Azerbaijan . In 2012, he took part in the Olympic Games in London , but again took only 11th place. In 2013 and 2014 he became the silver medalist of the World Cup, and in 2015 - bronze. In 2016, he took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , but there was only 13th.
