Ureaplasmosis is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections. However, there is still no consensus among doctors whether such a disease actually exists or is it a fiction of doctors. So, the causative agents of ureaplasmosis populate the vagina of a healthy woman in 60%, and in newborn girls in 30% of cases. Those. the hostility of ureaplasma to humans is in question. Ureaplasma can live in the body for years without causing any symptoms and not manifesting itself. The main factor in protecting the body is normal microflora, which is the physiological barrier. As soon as the balance of microorganisms is disturbed, the barrier disappears, the amount of ureaplasmas grows rapidly, causing inflammation [1]
The characteristic symptoms of ureaplasmosis are mucous discharge, burning sensation during urination, discomfort during sexual contact. [2]
Status
