HD-CYC or HD-Cyc - (H) igh (D) ose (CYC) lophosphamide is an acronym accepted in oncohematology (abbreviation) for a chemotherapy regimen using high-dose cyclophosphamide . Often, HD-CYC is used as the first element of a sequence in sequential high-dose chemotherapy in the treatment of relapses of aggressive lymphomas , lymphogranulomatosis . [1] [2] [3] The following sequence elements are usually HD-MTX , HDAC , HD-ETO .
HD-CYC also has other applications in oncohematology, for example, as a preparation regime for mobilization and collection of autologous stem cells for subsequent high-dose chemotherapy and autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation , or, for example, in combination with busulfan , as a component of a pre-transplantation conditioning regimen before the actual transplant.
In combination with rituximab, this regimen is called R-HD-CYC.
