Education

Since 1978, Grigoriy Osovoy has been working in various positions in the Ukrsovprof, Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, in 1991-1993. - The head of the group of consultants of the Federation Council (independent-1991) of the trade unions of Ukraine on the protection of the socio-economic interests of workers.
In January 1993, the Congress of the FPU elected Osovoy G.V. as the Deputy Chairman of the FPU, and in 1997 at the III Congress of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine he was elected First Deputy Chairman of the FPU.
In 2002, at the IV congress, the FPU was again elected first deputy chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine.
On April 5, 2006, at the meeting of the FPU Council, which took place after the V Congress, G. Osova was elected Vice-Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine.
Grigory Osovoy combines trade union activities with research and teaching, other social activities, is an honorary doctor of social sciences, has numerous printed works on the problems of trade union movement and social and labor relations.
1997—2005 He was co-chairman of the National Council of Social Partnership under the President of Ukraine. Since 2006, G. Osovoy heads the tripartite body of social dialogue - the Ukrainian Coordinating Committee for the Promotion of Employment, is a member of the Board of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
From July 2013 to May 2014, he headed the board of the Social Security Fund for temporary disability.
June 26, 2014 at the VIII meeting of the Council of the FPU Osova G. V. was elected Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine. In this position, he replaced Yuri Kulik , who resigned on February 26, 2014 of his own accord.
