A feature of the gun was the placement of the return spring . Because of the need to place the nozzle of the flue pipe on one straight line with the barrel bore, the spring had to be moved downward relative to the axis of the gate. The basic elements of automation were also located below the chamber and the shutter . A 55-mm shell with a partially burning shell was developed as an ammunition . It did not burn only the base of this, which in the process of shooting was removed and thrown away. Automation worked by the removal of powder gases , the power supply was ribbon . The barrel was threaded with a pitch of 8 Β° 30 '. At the end of the war, one prototype at a later stage of development was captured by American troops [1] .
