History
1988 is considered the year of foundation of the lyceum. Then, lyceum classes appeared at the school of Moscow school No. 483, opened jointly with the Moscow Automotive Institute with the aim of training personnel for the automotive industry. The first graduation of lyceum students took place in 1991. In the same year, the school got its current name - Lyceum No. 1524 [1] .
In 1995 at the Lyceum No. 1524 the dance ensemble "Smile" was created [2] . In 2011, the lyceum switched to non-cash payment of school meals [3] .
In 2010, construction began on a new building of the Lyceum, designed for 550 places [4] . Initially, they planned to hand it over in the third quarter of 2011, but due to the fault of the contractor, the dates had to be moved [5] . The new building of the Lyceum accepted the first students on September 1, 2012. Before opening it was visited by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin [6] [7] . In the new building of the Lyceum, dual-platform computers, scanners, printers, monitors, a media library, projection systems, interactive whiteboards were installed [4] .
In 2012, as a result of the reorganization, 2 schools and 5 kindergartens were attached to the lyceum [7] [4] .
In January 2016, Lyceum No. 1524 became the main venue for the festival “Our Common Opportunities - Our Common Results” [8] .
Education
Lyceum No. 1524 is the basic institution of the city innovation platform "Providing continuing education, effective socialization and decent employment for people with disabilities based on modern distance learning technologies" [9] . The lyceum is implementing a program for the development of computer giftedness in children [10] .
