Geography

The farm is located in the southwestern part of the Prokhladnensky district , on the right bank of the Baksanyonok river. It is located 22 km south-west of the district center Prokhladny and 47 km north-east of the city of Nalchik (on the way).

It borders the lands of settlements: Blagoveshchenka in the west, Alexandrovsky in the east, Novo-Ossetian in the south and Minsk in the south-west.

The village is located on the inclined Kabardian plain , in the flat zone of the republic. The average altitude in the village is 284 meters above sea level. The terrain is mainly foothill undulating plains with a general slope from the south-west to north-east. To the south-west and north-west of the farm there are tuberous hills indented by beams.

The hydrographic network is represented by the Baksanyonok river and the Black River spring stream. To the north of the village are several obstructed lakes. The area is highly provided with water, due to the close occurrence of groundwater to the surface of the earth.

The climate is humid and temperate with warm summers and cool winters. The amplitude of air temperature ranges from average + 23.0 ° C in July to average -2.5 ° C in January. The average annual temperature is + 10.5 ° C. The average annual rainfall is about 600 mm.

History

In 1903, the Ossetian entrepreneur Tsoraev Temirbulat began to lease land from the Kabardian princes Tyzhev, who later transferred a significant amount of the Tsoraev family from Ossetia to Kabarda and founded the Tsoraevsky farm.

In 1924, the farm was included in the newly formed Pervomaisky Village Council .

Now the farm has merged with other villages of the rural settlement of Blagoveshchenka and in fact constitute one settlement.
