Geography

Located on the river. Lundan , 23 km from the district center and the Zubov Polyana railway station.

Etymology

The name is associated with the Russian word buldyga ( bulyga ), meaning "cobblestone" (used on manor buildings and field camps to establish boundary lines). Residents themselves call the village "Sire Vele."

History

Founded no later than the 17th century. In 1846, the village Nikolskaya church was built here. According to statistical data of 1862, Buldygino is a state-owned village of 120 yards (1,178 people). In 1882, there were 254 yards in Buldygin (1,718 people); tavern, shop. In 1931 the collective farm was established to them. Kirov. In 1996, the Buldyginsky agricultural production complex was created on its basis as part of the Vector and Company TNV.

Infrastructure

In the modern infrastructure of the village there is a secondary school, a first-aid post, a post office, a cultural center, a shop; active stone church of the Intercession (architectural monument of the 19th century).
