Pyotr Vasilyevich Bakhmurov (June 1902, Russky Urmat village, Kazan province - June 1976, Moscow) was a Soviet state and party leader. Member of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR (1938-1947).

Biography
In 1919 he graduated from pedagogical courses in Kazan. He worked as a teacher in Abzyabar High School.
From 1920 to 1927 - Secretary, Executive Secretary, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Arsk Canton. Member of the RCP (b) since 1925
In 1927-1937 he studied and worked in Kazan and Moscow. Since October 1937, head of the Main Directorate of Trams and Trolleybuses of the People's Commissariat of Public Utilities of the RSFSR.
Since May 1938, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Chelyabinsk Regional Council of Workers' Deputies. On December 7 of the same year, he was released due to "a weak fight against the effects of sabotage in agriculture." It was withdrawn to the disposal of the Central Committee of the CPSU (B.).
In 1938-1940, head of the Main Energy Directorate of the People's Commissar of the RSFSR. In 1940-1951 Secretary of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR. In 1951-1953 deputy. Chairman of the Vologda Oblast Executive Committee. Since 1953, senior consultant at the State Arbitration Court.
Member of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR (1938-1947).
