The Church of the Resurrection of Christ is an Orthodox church of the Volokolamsk Deanery of the Moscow Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church . Located in the village Botovo Volokolamsky district of Moscow region .
Then a church was built here again in the name of the Blessed Prince Mikhail Yaroslavich Tverskago. The notebook on issued antimins for 1711 says: “on September 19, according to a blessed letter, antimins were issued to Volotsky district, to the village of Botovo, to the newly built church in the name of Prince Mikhail Yeroslavich Tverskago; antimins took priest John, who lives in the Suzdal monastery. "

The church was built in the style of classicism at the expense of Prince Mikhail Vladimirovich Dolgorukov . It is an octagon on a quadrangle , towering on a raised knoll surrounded by old gigantic trees. In the 1850s Nikolsky and Daryinsky chapels were built in the refectory. In the 1860s re-consecrated in the Resurrection.
In the 1930s. the church was closed, the refectory and the bell tower were broken. Since 2005, attributed to the church in the village of Spirov . In the early 2010s. the temple was restored, made the fence and the gate belfry. The small Black River of the Ivankovo reservoir separates the church from the houses [2] [3] .
