Biography
In 1922-1929 - a lecturer, in 1929-1968 - a professor at the Warsaw Technical University, in 1929-1950. - also director of the Radio Engineering Institute (hereinafter referred to as the State Institute of Electrotechnical Communication).
Scientific research in the field of radiophysics , electronics , physics and vacuum technology. He developed a method for the analysis of nonlinear electrical vibrations (the Groshkovsky method of harmonic vibrations).
State Prizes of the NDP (1951, 1955, 1968). Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences (1952), president in 1963-1972. Member of a number of academies of sciences, in particular, a foreign member of the USSR Academy of Sciences since 02/08/1966 - Department of General and Applied Physics (Physics).
