Club career

Rakip is a graduate of the Malmö club from his hometown. On June 1, 2013, in his match against Brommapoikarn , he made his debut in the Alsvenskan League ^[2] . In the same year, Rakip became the champion of the country and the owner of the Swedish Super Cup . In the summer of 2014, Erdal signed his first professional contract with Malmö for 3.5 years ^[3] . In the same year, he became the champion of the country for the second time. On June 3, 2015, in a duel against Efle , he scored his first goal for Malmö ^[4] .

In early 2018, Rakin moved to the Benfica in Lisbon and was immediately leased to the English Crystal Palace . In early 2019, Ekdal returned to Malmo.

International Career

In 2013, Rakip took third place in the youth national team of Sweden at the European Youth Championship in Slovakia . At the tournament, he played in matches against teams of Switzerland ^[5] , Austria ^[6] , Slovakia ^[7] and Russia ^[8] .

In the same year, Erdal won the bronze medals of the youth world championship in the UAE . In the tournament, he played in matches against Japan ^[9] , Honduras ^[10] , Mexico ^[11] , Argentina ^[12] and twice Nigeria ^[13] ^[14] . In a duel against the Hondurans, Rakip scored a goal.
