History

The history of the villages of the settlement dates back to the time of the existence of the fortified city of Karpov , whose inhabitants were mainly involved in protecting the city from attacks by Crimean Tatars and other foreigners. These were service people who were the first to form residential settlements in 1646 : Streletskaya, Pushkarskaya, Dragunskaya. The names of villages came from archers , of whom there were 418, gunners - 49, dragoons - 350 people. The population of the villages, performing sentry service, was engaged in agriculture and various crafts.

There were two thrones in it: the first - in honor of the holy great martyr George the Victorious , the second - in honor of the disinterested Kasma and Damian. The Assumption Church in the village of Pushkarn was built in 1868 . The church in the village of Streletsky was destroyed, in the village of Pushkarnoye restored and restored, services are currently being carried out in it, it is an architectural monument of the 19th century.

The villages were the estates of the nobles , who before the abolition of serfdom had several dozen souls of serfs. Peasants were mainly engaged in agriculture and gardening (Getman estate in the village of Krasnoe Podgorodnee). Sons from large families moved to the village of Krasny Otrozhek. They founded this village, Domnino and Stepnoye farms were also formed. [1] .

The Streletsky rural settlement was established on December 20, 2004 in accordance with the Law of the Belgorod Region No. 159 [4] .
