History
It was founded on October 6, 1944 in the village of Kuchevishte (a suburb of Skopje ). Formed from the partisans of the 8th Presevskaya and 12th Buyanovskaya brigades, as well as the Skopievsky and Sharplaninsky partisan detachments (120 people). Until mid-December 1944, as part of the Kumanov’s division, she fought against Albanian ballistas in the Black Mountain region near Skopje. She repulsed their attacks twice on October 8 and 11 . From October 19 to 29, it continuously attacked German troops on the Skopje - Kachanik road. Since December 1944, the 42nd Macedonian Division fought on the Sremsky Front.
