Content
Personal life
German was born in January 1917 in the village of Sloten in the southwest of Amsterdam [1] . Father - Anton Boyen , mother - Margaret Magdalena Kram [1] . In addition to him, the family also had a daughter named Margo, who was born in April 1923 [5] . In his youth, his father played for the football teams of AFC and Ajax [6] , and also was involved in athletics . Mother died in September 1928 [7] when he was eleven years old.
He married at the age of thirty-two years - his chosen one was the 25-year-old Gertreida Johanna Tonus, a native of Amsterdam.
He died on February 7, 1986 in Amsterdam at the age of 69 years [1] . The cremation ceremony took place on February 12 at the Westgard crematorium [8] . His wife died in April 2011 at the age of 100 years [9] .
