Fedulov, Igor Vyacheslavovich

Igor Vyacheslavovich Fedulov (born July 4, 1966, Kirovo-Chepetsk , Kirov Region , the RSFSR , USSR ) is a Russian hockey player , a central striker , and later a hockey coach . Most of his playing career has played for the Swiss National League clubs. He also has Swiss citizenship.

Biography

Born on July 4, 1966 in Kirovo-Chepetsk . A pupil of the Children's Sports School of the local hockey club " Olympia " (the first coach G. M. Zhuravlev), where he began his playing career.

In 1989-1994 he performed as part of the Chelyabinsk Tractor (in the championships of the USSR , CIS and MHL , was a bronze medalist in the MHL championship (season 1993/1994 ).

He played in the Russian national team at the 1994 World Cup . As part of the triple with Valery Kamensky and Andrei Kovalenko , he scored 9 (4 + 5) scoring points in six matches [1] . At the next World Cup in 1995, he also scored 4 (2 + 2) points in six matches. As part of the national team, he is a two-time winner of the German Cup (1992 and 1993) and the owner of the Nissan Cup (Switzerland, 1994).

In 1994, he signed a contract with the Swiss club Ambri-Piotta and later continued to play for the clubs of this country in the Swiss National League (divisions A and B). As part of Ambri-Piotte, he became the bronze medalist of the 1994/1995 season , as a part of HC "Lugano" he became the champion ( 1998/1999 ) and the silver medalist ( 1999/2000 ) championship. Second time he became a silver medalist in the Geneva-Servette club in the 2007/2008 season .

In 2011, he was invited to coaching at the familiar Geneva-Servette club - to head the club’s youth team, as well as to prepare and develop the children's team [2] .
