Born supposedly in 1782 .
According to the General Maritime List, part 6, in 1794 he entered the cadet in the Marine Corps . In 1802 he was promoted to midshipman of the rowing fleet, served at the port of St. Petersburg, and from 1805 he was assigned to the staff of the Marine Corps to “vaccinate” the second lieutenant.
He participated in the 1809 campaign on the Kronstadt raid on the ship "Gabriel". Since 1810, he was a lieutenant of the fleet, served on training hull ships, and led the naval practices of the cadets and midshipmen as a company commander.
In 1820 he was promoted to lieutenant commander of the fleet. Since 1823 he commanded the ships Urania, Grand Prince Mikhail, Lesnoy, a detachment of frigates, cruised across the Baltic and distilled ships from Arkhangelsk.
Since 1827 - the captain of the 2nd rank, since 1831 - the captain of the 1st rank.
In 1836 he was appointed inspector of the Kronstadt and Oranienbaum hospitals.
In 1838 he was promoted to rear admiral with the appointment of the 2nd brigade of the 2nd naval division as commander. Until 1843, he cruised in the Baltic Sea, and from 11.8.1843 he was appointed a member of the general presence of naval commissariat.
August 30, 1848 he was promoted to vice admiral with dismissal from service. In 1854 he was still alive.
