Biography
George Henry is the son of Prince George I of Waldeck-Pyrmont and Augusta Schwarzburg-Sondershausen . Inherited to his father in 1813.
On January 28, 1814, Prince George Heinrich issued the Organizational Edict, the constitution of Waldeck-Pirmont, according to which the princedom Waldeck and the county of Pirmont were united, which was also called the Principality in 1807. The constitution led to numerous protests in the Waldeck estate assembly, which ultimately forced Prince George to divide Waldeck and Pyrmont again on July 3, 1814.

Georg Henry was married to Princess Emma of Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoyme . The spouses were born:
