Biography
Born on July 20, 1930 in the village of Rozdol, Volnyansky district, Zaporizhzhya region, in a peasant family. Ukrainian. Member of the CPSU since 1959.
In 1947 he entered the vocational school number 9 of the city of Zaporozhye. After graduating from July 1949 and before retiring, he worked as a smelter in workshop No. 1 of the Zaporizhzhya Ferroalloy Plant. For outstanding achievements in work and achievement of high indicators in 1966, V. M. Yurchenko was awarded the title "Honorary Metallurgist of the USSR".
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 30, 1971, for outstanding achievements in fulfilling the tasks of the five-year plan for the development of ferrous metallurgy, Yurchenko Vladimir Viktorovich was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle."
Since 1980, retired. He was awarded the Order of Lenin , medals. Died. He was buried in Zaporozhye.
